Hey, remember how the government said that 75% of oil spilled in the Gulf of Mexico had magically vanished in a puff of rainbow pixie dust? Well…it turns out that 70-79% of the oil is still there. You know, UNDER THE WATER. So yeah, if I were a jet-propelled, ink-producing invertebrate, I’m pretty sure I would try to figure out a way to get airborne and give surface-dwellers a taste of their own black, gloopy medicine.

Shirt.Woot.com offers an new original t-shirt every day. And for the low low price of just $10! The catch is that each design is only available for that one day (although it seems that some “classic” designs have recently been re-offered for $15). The shirts are produced in limited quantities, and they sell out fast! All shirts are American Apparel, and they are long and close-fitting. I’ve only just recently lost enough weight to wear this one, and you can tell from this photo that it’s been folded up in the bottom of my dresser for a year and a half!
“Ocean R.E.M.” was designed by Tgentry and was available on February 2, 2008. I didn’t know it then, of course, but Kid Indie Squid Kid would be born a year later on that exact day. Does it depict a sleeping child dreaming of an octopus…or is is the octopus that dreams of a child?
