Sightings: Irish whiskey and cryptic cephalopods

While I was watching the season premiere of Mythbusters this past weekend, I caught this unusual commercial for Jameson’s Irish Whiskey.
Considering that nearly everything I watch has been recorded with the DVR, I usually just fast forward through the commercials. The only reason I noticed this particular cephalopodian cameo is because I was so busy working on my big ICAD octopus post, that I forgot to advance through the commercial break!
Ha! I saw it during Mythbusters as well and thought of you. Andy and I actually stopped fast forwarding through the commercials to watch it. Glad to see you found it!
I hope there is an alternate ending where Jameson shares his whiskey with the giant octopus and they become friends!
Also, this commercial made me realize that I am completely out of whiskey…
